GriefShare is a grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one.
GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges arising from the loss of a spouse, child, family member or friend and move toward rebuilding your life. Each of the 13 sessions of the Griefshare Cycle includes: a video seminar with experts, group discussion and you are invited to complete some workbook based personal study and reflection in your own time.
At Holywood Baptist Church we plan to provide the GriefShare Programme in the Autumn. You can find out more by contacting the church office by email
or by telephone; one of our GriefShare team leaders will get back to you. Help is available to people who are grieving their loss at all times (even when a cycle is not in progress).
If you are struggling with a loss not due to a death, GriefShare is not designed to meet your grief needs for healing but as a church we offer pastoral care to any situation where such help is needed.
The next cycle is due to commence on Tuesday 19 September 2017 and, with a break over the Christmas and New Year period, runs until early February. We meet in the church on Tuesday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30 pm. We encourage you to pre-register by completing this form
and either emailing to firstname.lastname@example.org
or handing in/posting to the church office.
