Grief Share Logo

GriefShare is a grief recovery support group where you can find help and healing for the hurt of losing a loved one.

GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges arising from the loss of a spouse, child, family member or friend and move toward rebuilding your life.  Each of the 13 sessions of the GriefShare Cycle includes: a video seminar with experts, group discussion and you are invited to complete some workbook based personal study and reflection in your own time.

At Holywood Baptist Church we plan to provide the GriefShare Programme. You can find out more by contacting the church office by email or by telephone;  one of our GriefShare team leaders will get back to you. Help is available to people who are grieving their loss at all times (even when a programme is not in progress).

If you are struggling with a loss not due to a death, GriefShare is not designed to meet your grief needs for healing but as a church we offer pastoral care to any situation where such help is needed.

GriefShare Courses are held regularly - the next course will commence on Tuesday, 5 November from 7.00pm - 9.00pm in the Church Building.

If you have any questions please contact the church office - 028 9042 1519

Surviving the Holidays is a 2 hour seminar to provide encouragement, support and valuable tools to navigate the challenges of the  holiday season.

This will be held in the church on Tuesday, 10 December from 7.00pm - 9.00pm.  Everyone is welcome, there is no need to register.

Further details can be found at www.griefshare.org/holidays or by contacting the church office by email info@holywoodbaptist.org.uk.

About Us

IMG 7488

We are a group of followers of Jesus from Holywood and the surrounding area. Our church family consists of people from a wide range of ages and backgrounds. We want to bring glory to God, to help one another grow in our Christian faith, to reach out in God’s love to those in Holywood and beyond and ultimately to see many from all backgrounds become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Our main service takes place at 10.30 each Sunday morning and everyone is warmly invited to join with us. We seek to worship God in a manner which is both contemporary and reverent and place great importance on clear Biblical teaching.

Children are very welcome in all our services, and crèche facilities are available for babies and toddlers. Pre-school and primary school children join us for the first part of the service before leaving for Junior Church.

Prayer ministry is available at the end of each service, as well as an opportunity to meet informally over a cup of tea or coffee.

Information about all the activities of the church can be found elsewhere on the website along with contact details if you would like to get in touch with us. We would love to welcome you!
